Came here after visiting Daytona Beach but it was pretty close to closing time so was not able to get into the Museum anymore. Nevertheless, it was a great place to visit. Another reason to go back to the Daytona Beach area.

Spectacular views in every direction, well worth the 200+ steps up to the top. Nice gift shop and friendly staff.

We had a great time visiting the lighthouse, gift shop and grounds. Very pretty area. fun bar right next door for a well-earned cocktail after the climb!

Other reviewers were disappointed, but it is as advertised: a lighthouse. You climb the lighthouse for a view of the area. The admission price is minimal and used for upkeep of the lighthouse and grounds.

Went here with my wife on a Sunday around noon. Although the parking lot was pretty full I would not say the place was overly crowded. We walked the entire grounds and visited each building. There is a lot of history here and much can be learned by reading the placards and other exhibits in and around each building. My... More

The drive from Ormond was beautiful. Take as much of the drive on Peninsular as you can. Very beautiful, educational, and interesting. Definitely pay the $6.95 to climb to the top!

Enjoyed the lighthouse and history. This is the second lighthouse I have visited in Florida. I did walk up all 203 steps to the top. The views are magnificent. Look forward to see more lighthouses in Florida on future trips. Next one will probably be on cape canaveral.

This is the tallest lighthouse in Florida. I believe it is tbe second tallest masonry lighthouse in the US. Cape Hatteras light is number one. All of the surrounding buildings and grounds are extremely well preserved. The price of admission is very reasonable. Six or seven dollars. It's a hike to the top to be sure, but the view is...
