My husband and I visited this small museum today and enjoyed hearing the interesting stories about the items on display. The guide took great pride in telling us how the items came into the museum’s possession and were a part of Dade City’s history. There is also a model train layout. The museum is on a major highway and only a block or so away from the historic downtown district. It also holds special activities throughout the year and rotates its exhibits.

Volunteers from Brooksville's 1885 Train Depot visited Dade City's depot and we were impressed. Amazing staff that was friendly and very knowledgeable, plus the depot is filled with many authentic artifacts that relate to the period and also Dade City. The model train layouts alone are worth the trip. I would suggest this museum to history and train buffs of all ages.
