About Gulf Coast Expeditions
Gulf Coast Expeditions provides customers with personalized manatee snorkel tours, scallop charters, and sightseeing tours. We keep our group sizes small and take no more than six people out at a time. Our tours meet daily at our marina location which is conveniently located for a quick boat ride to swim with the manatees and the scallop grounds.

Awesome trip. Captain Rob and Lauren took care of us and our three kids - 5, 9, and 10. Lauren helped our 5-year old in the water for the duration. We were the first boat out and saw over 10 manatees in the water while...More

I did the Manatee Snorkeling Tour with Gulf Coast Expeditions in January 2018, and again in January 2019. Both were great trips. I research everything thoroughly before purchasing or going on a trip. There were a number of other tour operators offering Manatee encounters, but...More

Captain Ron and first mate Lauren provided an excellent outing for our family of 4. They were knowledgable guides in all things: we learned about manatees, they knew the best spots to go, they knew how to be patient and where to look, and they...More

We took the 6:30 AM manatee cruise with Captain Ron on Dec 30, 2018. Worth mentioning that they have wetsuits for all shapes and sizes (which we were worried about since my boyfriend and I are shaped weird). At the beginning, Captain Ron told us...More

After receiving manatee-themed tacky Christmas sweaters to announce their Christmas gift of a unique experience, my 16-year-old and 19 year-old children were super excited. They didn't even complain about getting up before sunrise for the 6:30am tour. The hour was early, and the water was...More

Captain Bob and Captain Phil went out of their way to give us a great experience under less-than-ideal conditions. Captain Bob knew a lot about the area and told us some great stories of homes along the river. Captain Phil was very attuned to helping...More

We loved the experience and all credit goes to the associate Lauren who convinced my daughter do the activity while she does not know how to swim. We had a wonderful time there and I would recommend Gulf Coast Expedition.

This is fine for non swimmers. You mainly dog paddle around and float with your snorkel on and a noodle under your arms for bouncy. most time is spent with face just under the water so you can watch the manatees. My aunt... More
