Four friends and I had a delightful time kayaking down the Wakulla River from the State Park to T-N-T Hideaway's location. The ages of our group ranged from early 60's to early 80's and only one of us was an experienced kayaker. Nevertheless, we had...More

Both couples chose the extra cost to be dropped off, with our 2 person kayaks, at the upper part of the spring fed Wakulla River. We spent a wonderful 2 hours kayaking (but really mostly floating downstream due to the nature of the river current)...More

In the interest of full disclosure, we didn't take the tour. We rented a canoe for the afternoon. However, we found the proprietress to be helpful and friendly, the equipment good. And the rates fair. Since we hadn't seen a manatee (though we had seen...More

There is nothing like a canoe ride on the Wakulla River. It's soothing, relaxing and just lovely. I'm always surprised at how many quiet activities such as this one exist in our fair county just south of the capital of Florida, Tallahassee. On one hand...More

We visited this area in June, after a tropical storm had come in. Water was high, but safe. We took our granddaughter who was not very experienced. The young men who got our kayaks were very helpful. I have two artificial knees and have trouble...More

I paddled downstream and found some interesting niches in the waterways. But padding upstream had the best wild life views. Neat houses along the river. The owners were friendly and great. I look forward to going back.

We kayaked three miles up the river and three miles back. I would recommend going earlier in the morning. The river is calm and not congested, better for wildlife viewing. We saw two manatee in the morning! One of them nearly knocked my husband out...More

This is a great place to go canoeing. Beautiful route. We saw a lot of alligators, turtles, birds, fish and even two manatees. Anyone who loves nature, wildlife or animals will enjoy this.

Great location, shaded parking, and beautiful river trip. Upon checking in, the guy answered any questions I had. Then, when we received our rentals and were loading up, the guy helping with that was SUPER helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable. (I actually planned on tipping...More

Looking for a place to rent a canoe or kayak, that allows beer and we'd like to see some manatees and camp after. Is this the place? Any recommendations?
