The park is very busy with mothers with small children. The park has facilities, swings, tennis. A lot of the area has an awaning cover.

No school today so a trip to Betti Stradling was on the top of the to do list. Although there are a number of parks in Coral Springs, we really prefer the BS playground. First, the entry/exit fence is very secure and high so kids can't accidentally "slip out."

The playground is covered by an awning, which helps keep the sun out. Since there are usually a lot of kids of various ages it's easy for your youngster to "join the gang" and slide, swing or play hide and seek.

The playground surface is made up of energy absorbing material to cushion any fall. The only negative to today's outing was the middle slide was broken and poorly marked as such. Otherwise this is a great park in a great location with lots of parking, benches and a few tables for the adults.

I love bringing my kids here. It has a great atmosphere and is always clean. There are usually alot of birthday parties held here but the park is so spacious that it doesn't over crowd for the ones that are there just playing.

The skatepark is still closed for no reason and the park rangers are a joke. Can’t even contact the park owner or whoever runs it.

Betti Stradling Park is a fairly large park off of Wiles Road. It has a lot to offer the community of Coral Springs. At 21 acres there is a beach volleyball court, basketball court, athletic fields, walking trails, exercise stations, picnic pavilion and tables, and restroom. Close to the parking lot is a large slip and glide playground that is covered to provide shade while the kids play. There is also a skate park that is only open certain hours and there is a $5.00 admission to use it. The Coral Springs Recreation Department offers many programs at the park including sports leagues and events. There is so much to do here. I saw kids and families enjoying the playground, people walking and exercising on the path, birthday parties, and a basketball game. When you finish enjoying all this park has to offer it is only a short trip to Cherry Smash for ice cream.

I came here a lot when one of my kids played softball. It is a large and nice park for walking. Except at night when they turn off the lights on the back fields, it’s a bit remote and creepy. A
So the layout and parking are annoying. Bathrooms are could better maintained. Average for Coral Springs parks. My son was excited for skateboard park but it ended up being small and often empty.

Small Park located on Wiles Rd. has parking, not much in the way of equipment, more for birds and people walking.

The park has fields for youth sports and an area with picnic tables for families or groups. In addition to youth league sports activities, I have had Boy Scout Troop and Civil Air Patrol Squadron events centered around the picnic area. There is room to meet, set up food, play or have other outdoor activities.

Why are we letting them take the park????????
Worth reading-----Do not let this happen!!!! SAVE YOUR AMAZING PARK
Last night we had a Coral Springs Neighborhood Information Meeting about the Betti Stradling Park park being taken over to become another high school. We were 4200 in petition against that and 400 there to voice our opinion on the reason we want it saved. This park is the best for this neighborhood and we all use it and it's crowded every day. The park started without funds and we all had fundraisers donations and help to build and rebuild the toy area and skate park. It has our mark of neighborhood. It is a history for all in sports and all age parties. It has little angels who passed on ...memorials by their parents. It still is my bike path ride at sunset. It was my daughters' beach volleyball team practice place. We can not take more traffic in that area with one school there already- this new school is the Broward school Board profit school plan...
