Island Boat Lines offer daily Eco tours of the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands. Our most popular tour is the two hour Eco tour "In Search of Wildlife". Passengers have the opportunity to see herds of Manatees, flocks of Birds and playful Dolphin as they journey through the heart of the Cocoa Beach Thousand Islands.

Tours are guided by a USCG Certified Captain and Professional Naturalist who will help passengers discover wildlife as they journey through the islands "In Search of Wildlife". Be sure to view the photos which have been provided to us by our passengers throughout the years.

Three of us took the 2-hr eco tour on the Banana River. The price was reasonable and was good value. The driver and tour guide were very well informed about the wildlife in the area and made it a lot of fun. We saw manatees, dolphins and tons of different birds. Would not hesitate to take it again or recommend... More

A lot of fun!!!! Saw a lot of wildlife including manatees, dolphins, many birds. I learned a lot about different palm species. It was very interesting and educational. Beautiful day which made it more fun. The captain and the naturalist were very knowledgeable about everything. I totally recommend this excursion.

We booked our 2 pm ride a few hours in advance. It was a small group so there was room to move around on the boat. We were able to see dolphins, manatees, and lots of water fowl on our 2 hour excursion. It was a great way to spend part of an afternoon. We all loved seeing the wildlife... More

We took the wild life tour and enjoyed the 2 hour trip. It was a beautiful sunny day and the ability to get up and walk around was great. We saw a couple manatee (below water) and lots of dolphin out playing. Pelicans, osprey, Heron (both blue & great white) Ibis, and various water birds along with jelly fish and... More

This afternoon 2 hour tour was quite impressive; small boat for an interactive session with the captain and crew. The boat was small to cover the nooks/crannies that a larger tour boat could not navigate due to the low water depth of the Banana river. Loved viewing the trees covered in the winter population of pelicans nesting. Lots of wildlife... More

There are morning and afternoon tours available. Reservations can be made online or on the boat. The tour lasts 2 hours and is a good value for the price. Was windy and cool the day i went but was still an enjoyable experience .There are black mats on the seats which keep you from sliding and sitting on wet metal.... More

I cannot fault this tour.We turned up, not knowing what to expect and were greeted by friendly staff who turned out to be very informative about the local area and wildlife, and could answer any questions we had .We did see dolphins, plenty of different birds, and although never got to see a manatee(tho wife thought she did),it was a superb...
