Awesome 2 days of fishing with Capt BO. I along with my friend Jimbo Have traveled all over the world and have fished in Florida numerous times but my first time on Lake Okeechobee fishing out of Roland Martin’s marina with Capt Bo. Must say we were on fish all day for two days straight. You name it we caught it. Largemouth bass ranging from 3 pounds to 8 pounds. Gar, bowfin, catfish, turtles, and of course the alligator who ate our bait and took off and would not break the line free we did not know it was a gator to 40 minutes later when we got it to the boat. Captain Bo White was absolutely amazing. Had the best experience we could have ever asked for. First time fishing like this and would highly recommend booking with Capt Bo. He made sure you had a good time and definitely made sure you caught fish. First day we probably caught 40 fish. Second day I landed a 7 lb large mouth bass.…

Arrived at the marina after a very grueling trip on the water. The marina was easy to get into and tie up, and the marina shop the next morning as we were checking out were very nice, helpful - lived up to the good rep. However, the restaurant, food, servers, EVERYTHING was awful. It must be a heavily hispanic area because our server did not seem to understand or speak English very well. I asked for a martini and the bartender didn't know how to make it. They offer a full bar, so I thought something as simple as a martini would be easy. My BF ordered a bacardi and coke, and was given a tequila and coke. Our server stood over in the drink alcove for servers when she was not flirting with men in the restaurant. I had the chicken breast dinner that was like shoe leather, and looked and tasted like it had been frozen. I just found out from another reviewer that there may have been an automatic 18% added to my check, which I did not authorize or know about, and then I gave a 10% tip to make a point! I should have given nothing! Perhaps the reason for the automatic gratuity is that the service and food is so bad that no one leaves a decent tip!!! HORRIBLE experience. Overall, as two exhausted boaters who were just looking for a bit of relaxation and a good meal, we were very disappointed.…

Great place! Fishing guide Mike Balon was the best, couldn't ask for a better experience. Tiki bar and hotel room was great. I will be back. Staff in the marina store were friendly and knowledgeable.

Started with Bo calling to say was gonna be bad wind and we could cancel—We d said we re going and he said c’mon—-he found place out wind (12-15 with gusts to 25) and by damn we caught fish-/had a ball!! Capt Bo White—also, nice boat and great equipment! Can’t wAit to go back on a good fish day!…
