Really inexpensive, elevator ride to the top. Excellent views of the surrounding hills and lakes. Old maps show how it looked before the Orange groves were replaced by houses. It plays music on the hour.

I live here. It a wonderful place to visit and live. However I remember when there was actually citrus to see. If you are coming just for the citrus tower please save your gas money. Nothing to really see anymore. You go up look at...More

Clearly built when it was agricultural land but now all you can see are sprawling housing estates. Kids were bored within a minute so it was a very short stay. Glad it was on our doorstep and we didn’t travel to see it. Not for...More

I am certain that back in the day before housing developments and city sprawl that this was an incredible view of the orange groves. Today, the view is rooftops from the sprouting housing communities. However, the gift shop was full of darling things and we...More

We drove to the tower and took photos from the ground level. Didn't want to party to ascend. Didn't look like a big deal.

Pretty cool attraction to go see. The price was worth it to go to the top. I would suggest coupling the Citrus Tower with the President Hall of Fame next door.

The highlight in my opinion was the gift shop. The lady in the gift shop was very nice. The view from the top was not as spectacular as I was hoping. There was limited distance that could be seen. The viewing area was outdated and could...More

This land lighthouse is to be visited by any and by all that are close enough to see from afar. Do not expect a Disney experience. Expect a poetic discovery --- write it down for yourself and for future selves to come. wls

Great vintage Florida attraction worth a visit.  As others mentioned, the tower is past its prime, but they seem to keep it in decent condition.  It was a nice diversion from the newer, crazier, busier attractions in Central Florida. We love old-school attractions like this,...More

Gosh, I can't think of any that come to mind. Do you know where in FL it was? A more specific area might help jog the memory!
