Came to Pier 60 in April. Walked out to the end and enjoyed the views. Now, pier is closed off , not sure why. It was 70 in December so the weather was beautiful. Fresh air and nice views make it worthwhile.

They currently have the before and after sunset entertainment/vendors, etc. Pier is not that big, and if you want to continue out to the far end, you have to pay $1 per person at the store there. A few guys caught some Spanish mackerel while we were out there. Location is close to everything within walking distance.

My daughter and I visited this evening. It was dark but the pier was alive and lit up with vendors, street musicians and activities for kids. The water was cold but it is December. The sand is heavenly soft and clean. There's water available to clean your feet afterwards. Great evening skyline with the lights dancing on the water. Wear... More

A great place to take in the beauty of the clearwater beach gulf area. loads to do and great food. People fish from the pier but I dont recommend it for anyone other than kids for that.

The pier has vendors selling "stuff" (souveniers and such). Once you walk further out (and consider paying the $1 to get access to the fishing pier) it is very lovely and you get great views. There are also street performers on nice days.

Husband and needed a little breather before the holidays officially started, so we picked Clearwater. I loved Pier 60, the whole beach experience and all. We do not have children, but seems like the perfect place for kids. We loved it! Peaceful, clean and all that good stuff. Loved it!

they put on sunset activities everyday a few hours before till a few hours after. there are local street performers and craft for sale. they charge $1 to get to end of the pier. you can fish from the end, which we didn't do. we watched the pelicans dive bombing the water, and actually saw dolphins swim by. It was beautiful.

Always bustling with activity! It can be crowded on the weekends especially with the vendors. You have to pay to access the very end of the pier.

It is a nice pier with some benches to sit on. We did not pay to go all the way out on it. Gift shop was nice but Pricey as everything is on the Island. Saw a couple of sharks and a stingray looking down in the water. Met a guy named Adam selling some Shark Teeth necklaces. Very nice... More
