I walked over from clearwater beach. The sand on sand key park is more course but very nice and clean. The span of the beach was also nice and long with gentle waves. It was not crowded at all when I went. The water quality is equivalent to clearwater beach.

Though we usually just ride bikes or walk, this park offers a variety of activities. Last time we even saw a sign for a wedding. Gulf beach access or fishing in the inlet. Good trails.

We visited Sand Key Park yesterday and found it much quieter than the main hub of Clearwater. Turn in to it just before the Sheraton hotel. The car park was quite empty and was $5 all day. Whilst there is a man with a small food stand (burgers, crisps, hot dogs, cold drinks) and a gazebo with two table and... More

Lovely place to walk and relax. Beautiful and amazing shells everywhere. We did some wading, no real swimming, but my husband did find a tiny octopus in a conch shell!! Very cool!

I came here regularly just to watch the water. Great memories. BBQ areas or great if you're just looking for some peace and quiet

This is a great location to take photos of the sunset. Plenty of parking. For photographers, there are rocks that lead to the water. Beautiful.

Great beach for families. There are lots of shells, and the bath house/restrooms were clean and convenient. There is a $5 parking fee for the day, but you can come and go and only pay once.

Paid parking to stop. Sand Key beach is not as nice as Clearwater beach. I would rather pay for parking and go to Clearwater fine white sand and wide. This beach was very course sand, not wide and very Shelly. We walked two miles on it and I enjoyed our four mile walk on Clearwater beach. Also, there were no... More
