We drove by on the way home and saw a For Sale sign on the fence. Their web site says they are closed.
It wasn't terrible when it was open, but how can I rate it now that it is closed.

The winery shop is an eclectic place to visit. There is of course lots of wine related merchandise/souvenirs at reasonable prices to buy (bought a couple of wine glass coasters). The shop is dressed with a collection of antique and unusual items such as large old fashioned range ovens and steel kettles etc. Just browsing the shop could keep you entertained for an hour. The owners are warm and friendly and are quite happy for you to partake in the free wine tastings, even if you don’t buy any bottles. Most of the white wines on offer come from Florida grown grapes, but this does mean they are mostly sweet/semi-sweet due to the local growing conditions. They import Californian grapes to make drier white wines. There is of course also a good selection of reds. Worth stopping at when in the area.

On our way from Perry to St. Petersburg we saw Dakotah Winery and decided to stop. The winery sits in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Our host was friendly and helpful. Found some reasonably priced small gifts there. Bought a couple bottles of wine, one of which reminded me of a port. Relaxed watching fish and enjoying nature. Good place to visit.

We drove into Chiefland during our stay in Cedar Key, and found this winery that we had seen signage for along Hwy 19. It was a fun place to visit with lots of items displayed showing some history of the area. The owner was very friendly and after tasting a few samples we picked out a very nice Cab. We will definitely visit this winery again next year!

Winter people, love their wine esp, Carlos, Blush, and the fortified Port. We have stopped there for several years. Bought 2 cases for the Holidays on Friday, sat by the fire with Max. The Best!

What a gem in this area. Tasted all nine wines...not a bad one in the lot. Brought home a case of assorted wines and dessert wine, port, too.

Awesome stop on a Cedar Key stop. Quaint grounds with antiques and a pond in back. The owner purrs tastings of anything we wanted to try. Told us about winemaking in Florida and even carried our wine out to the car. Super nice! And a nice variety of wines!

My mother and I stopped here while passing through the area. It was a nice surprise! Their wines were very good. I especially liked Carlos and Blush. They also have pure muscadine grape juice (non-alcoholic) which was very tasty too. We also did some shopping in their gift shop, which had a big selection of souvenirs, gifts, and wine accessories. It was a nice stop.

If you are in Chiefland Fl and have some time to spare, you need to stop by. Wine tasting and wine making facility. Family owned, very friendly and welcoming. Interesting displays. Wine by the bottle or case to purchase. Lots of different selections.

We love this little gem. The winery is a fun place to visit. We loved feeding the koi fish ducks and turtles in their pond out back. We both enjoyed looking and buying some of their unique items that they sell. Great place to shop for the holidays. They have a lot of history inside to browse at too, take your time and see all of the things and ask about them too. Everything has a story behind it. Stroll the property and see all of the antiques displayed, they did a wonderful job with. As you enter the building LOOK UP, those are grapes growing right on the rooftops edge. They also have picnic table to eat at and enjoy the outdoors.
