RV sites are level and easy to navigate. If peace and quiet, wildlife, friendly folk are what you desire, I highly recommend Manatee Springs. The water is clear, grounds are clean and there is a playground and concession stand by the water. Bathrooms are clean...More

We were blown away by the great afternoon that we spent at Manatee Springs. The park is beautiful and very relaxed. We rented a kayak spent a couple of hours enjoying the amazing density of wildlife, including manatees (with a baby!) gators, vultures, turtles, snakes,...More

We had a very nice day. The kayak concessionaire was friendly and affordable and we had a very nice day on the river and around the springs. We were stunned by the manatees who showed up off of our kayaks. We tried to stay away...More

We have RV’d in several Florida state parks over the past 2 winters and NONE have been a disappointment. Manatee Springs State Park is very pretty and very quiet. While the bathhouse in our loop was older the hosts did a great job of keeping...More

This is a very beautiful Spring and the park has nice trails too. A great place to see Manatees in the winter months when it is cold enough to lure them up to the Spring head. We saw many while there in February. There are...More

This is a truly wonderful state park. No huge bells and whistles, just laid back nature. Hiking trails, clear springs, spacious campsites, clean restrooms, snorkeling, scuba, swimming, paddling. Close to the Suwanee River, part of an underwater cave system Enjoyable 2 or 3 days.

I don’t often give a 5-star rating but this state park delivers just what I love about state parks - a peaceful place to enjoy nature. We visited when it wasn’t busy so that helps but we loved walking the boardwalks, listening to the birds...More

A trio of us went to try the springs and go scuba diving there. We were not impressed. Catfish hole was covered in duck weed. Once you go through that, it was ok. The spring next to that was just a 40 feet hole in...More

One of our fav places to view the river! Sometimes we come by boat sometimes by car. The grounds are always very well maintained and clean. Workers are very nice and helpful. Such a beautiful park

In order to bring your own you need to drive into the parking area. Idk where this "shuttle" is or where it comes from!! Drive down, unload then park! That's what we all do

Dogs are allowed in the campground and on the trails, if they are on a leash. They are not allowed in the swim area or concession area.
