We specialize in ecological tours of South West Florida, Fort Myers Beach to the South Sanibel to the West and Cape Coral to the North. Come and watch the dolphins play in our beautiful estuaries. Your guides are trained certified Florida Master Naturalists in Coastal Environments / Wetlands from the University of Florida and we are a Dolphin SMART Approved tour operator.

This is one of our favorite experiences for visitors from out of state. We have seen dolphins every time. Our most recent tour was the best yet. So many dolphins and they were putting on a show for boaters. The captain and the guide for this tour go out of their way to make guests of all ages feel welcome. They are especially good with children. I highly recommend this tour.

Such an amazing trip! Among other animals we were lucky to see both manatees, lots of dolphins and get a fantastic look at hundreds of american white pelicans gathered on a small island. The charming crew entertained us the whole trip with anecdotes and fun facts and really made us all feel welcome and special. Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing tour Thank you so much for a trip I won't forgot .
Educating us was by far one of the most important parts for me plus seeing mama and her baby swimming freely where they belong, ranger Rob has some wonderful knowledge to share and its well worth the listen, and thanks to our amazing captain for keeping us safe during that storm. We all thank you for everything. If you have never done this tour I highly recommend it even if you don't get to see a dolphin you will learn so much .and it's also just fun to be on the water.

Well I still haven’t seen a manatee, but we still had a great time. A wonderfully shaded, comfortable boat took us out for a day at sea. Julia told us all about Mangrove trees, dolphins and manatees. Captain Rick had her steer the boat as he told the tale of how she rescued a sea bird stuck in a net. Just like a proud dad. Both were extremely funny and patient even when my daughter had a strange question. We did get to see a mother and baby dolphin jumping around and several other dolphins on the trip. There was shelling and lunch on a small island as well.

Just literally hit off the boat for the dolphin sunset cruise.
What an experience I can see why it has 5* reviews.
Captain JR & Julia made the experience amazing. From the courteous arrival to being interested in all our party. Can’t beat having a good chat. Arranging the dolphin show, ospreys, eagles & amazing sunset even with the big cloud.
Made our daughters holiday by letting her pilot the boat and teaching her about the deep channels, sand banks, signs & what to look out for. An experience we all will never forget.
Well done this was amazing. Don’t delay book and get the experience.

If you are on the fence about taking this tour, especially with children don't be .
We took the Half Day Ecological Dolphin Cruise out of Cape Coral on todays date with six adults and three young children(7 years old to 2 years old).
Captain JR and his assistant Julia were amazing and made the trip very memorable and enjoyable.
You can tell that Captain JR throughly enjoys his job as he engaged with many of the passengers during the trip, especially the children as he taught them about boating and the wildlife.
While on our tour we saw at least a dozen dolphins , some of which were jumping multiple time (which is rare apparently ) and even assisted in rescuing a pelican struck in fishing line.
The island you stop on is small but very nice. You only spend about thirty minutes on it so no need to get carried away with beach gear. We let the kids play on the island and eat their lunch on the boat.
Overall a very pleasant/memorial experience. Probably the best boating tour I've taken to date.

I think, the access from the dock to the boat maybe difficult or un-accessible by wheelchair. The boats themselves are wheelchair friendly, and I think, that the Crew are very helpfull in this case. Ask them via Email or Website :-)

The company contacted us and refunded our fares and offered a free trip . The Fish tale marina is not connected with the tour company. The staff at fish tale either are 1. Ignorant of the tour or 2.more likely to sabotage a competing tour by mis informing banana bay patrons. Either way if you know this the Tour itself is sound.
