Lots to see here plus rest rooms at either end and occasional benches to sit if you're tired. Parking can be an issue unless you get there early

Enjoyed our stroll through the beach market. Good variety with several having Tye-dye clothes. Picked up a few unique items at a good price. Food vendors also. We arrived at opening hour of 10 AM and not very crowded but we can see where this gets busy as the day wears on. Wednesday and Friday. Trolley stop right here.

Located on the south end of the island. We enjoyed walking around looking at all the booths. Looks like they had just about everything out there at the market from clothing, jewelry, sunglasses, & food... There are all kinds of unique items for sale. We were only there a short while, but it was fun to browse and shop. There is a lot of shade around Coquina Beach which is nice to take a break from being in the sun.

A sizable Coquina Beach outdoor market with a variety of vendors selling beach apparel, craft and homemade treats, novelties, Florida oriented items etc. During our February and March stay in the area we usually pick up our weekly supply of red grapefruit and cantaloupe as well as some sweet treats or dip mix. We enjoy browsing the other vendors. Over the years the variety and quality of vendor products has greatly improved. Tips: The vendors can change from market day to market day so check with the individual vendors when they are there, the days and hours change for different times of the year, and I suspect because of the permanent beach cafe there are no major food or beverage vendors except for the ever popular fresh popcorn , soft pretzels, and bakery items.

Not many food vendors but an eclectic mix of items for sale. Lots of beach related merchandise. Be careful of uneven sidewalk or can turn an ankle. Also parking crowded as half the lot was being redone.

If you contact Manatee County on their parks & recreation (website) they will give you the info you need. It used to be $40 a day and you have to stay the full time it is open.

Is there a way to find a vendor from the market that did wooden beach and ocean pictures? Many of the pictures were circle in shape.

The market is 10-4. Manatee County does not allow dogs anywhere in the park. Service dogs are always welcome.
