This is so delightful. So easy to get fit on a comfortable boardwalk. The wild life sights are enthralling. Both professional and amateur photogs enjoy together. Calming experience and feel one with nature. Leave your ringing phone home and take a camera. Great for kids. Enjoy

After going to the Wakodaharchee Wetlands, we decided to visit Green Cay. Totally different environment for bird/animal watching. Again, beautiful boardwalks to take you through the park.

Gators, birds, turtles, river otters and more. Take your cameras and explore the many varieties of south Florida birds. I have been going for a good few years.

A friend suggested this location for shooting photos of wildlife so went there on a Sunday to see. If you want to see a particular species check with a birder who can give you an idea of when they will be nearby. (3 weeks made a BIG difference in birds seen) The boardwalks are well maintained by the county and... More

Highly recommend this place. Nice friendly staff with tons of scenery and wildlife. The birds were very active, saw an owl and a huge gator.
