We have been going to this beach for years on vacation. Now we live here and go all the time. Durning the busy season it's hard to get a parking space so go early. The beach is clean, water sports for rent and food at Docs. Beautiful sunsets. A must do if you are in the area.

We love going to the beaches in Bonita Springs. They are clean and have nice fail cites for changing. Be of the mouth things to do is bring a picnic dinner and wine and watch the sunset. The parking lots get full so get there early. Everyone claps once the sun is down!

I think our experience may have been impacted by recent lake run offs into the Gulf but the water was gray and uninviting to us. Next time we'd try the Keys.

Nice sandy beach, beach bar next to it. Sunsets are great. After a storm the shells are great. Get there early during season the parking fills up, or drive a little down the beach to public parking but very little parking there.

The beach itself is lovely. Close to Doc's beach house restaurant. Lounge chairs and umbrellas available for rent. Also jet ski, paddle boards and parasailing. Bath house with facilities.Only gave 3 stars as there are so few parking spaces.

One of the best beaches in the U.S. Even at peak times, you can always find a spot. The best is that Doc's Beach House is on site so you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner; delicious food. Great blue-green and calm water. Plenty of shells around. And beautiful sunsets!

Need to go early for parking $2 per hour. Good lunch at Docs also hot dog lady there. Better to try down the Blvd at one of the other beach access spots where parking is free and less crowded. Good spot is all the way at the end of little hickory island where there are bathroom facilities, there you still... More

This spot on the gulf is wonderful. As a lot have mentioned parking is needed. There are some spots but no where near enough. You can rent chairs and umbrella's. It is best out of season as far as crowded. There is a bar/restaurant close. Doc's Beach House. You can valet park there is hungry.

I have been going to Bonita Springs since 2006 or 7 and up until 3 years ago, I never worried about parking at the beach because my aunt had a beach house, but not that she lives on the bay it's a bit of a problem. The parking is so scattered and always packed if you don't get there right... More
