this is a great spot - although Irma did some damage to this area. I'm sure after some time has passed, it will be a gem again.

These beaches are very short and loaded with vegetation and shells making it extremely difficult to walk and move around. I think the city is losing a huge tourist opportunity. A little sprucing up and maybe some ice cream and soft drink vendors strategically placed...More

At low tide you can walk out a long way with no waves. Plenty of seashells, and you might even be like us and see a manatee swimming in the shallows.

Bonita Springs Public Beach is very well maintained and clean. The water, sun and cool breaze made for a beautiful morning swim and relaxation on our recent visit. Restrooms, showers, picnic area and children's playground were also on the site and kept clean.

Not unless you can find street parking. In many places they charge on the street also but they can be found just depends on the season you are here

absolutely, you can take your own or rent. all the beaches in that area are the same. Lovers Key State Park beach is about 5 miles from Bonita Beach and much nicer. A tram takes you to the beach free of charge. Bonita... More
