Kayaking in Hickory Island Preserve
2 hours 30 minutes
Overview
The Estero Bay estuary is the largest estuary that still is in its natural state in southwest Florida. The wildlife is abundant, and Islands still stand that were built of seashells for the Calusa Indians to keep their eyes on any enemies that could be approaching, dolphin swim and play along side of our kayakers on many occasions, and becoming one with nature and gliding along, witnessing the wildlife without disturbing it is an awesome adventure.

Mike did a great job as tour guide. He was informative and explained a lot about the area and the wildlife. Really enjoyed it and will definitely bring family and friends again.

My only complaint - our guide took some great pictures of us and told us he would send them to us since he had our cell phone numbers. It has been three weeks since we were there and we never received the pictures.. very disappointing!…

This is the fourth time we have used Adventures Kayaking. Great service and follow-up. The keyeking in the mangroves is always fun and ending up on the beaches of the gulf is the highlight.

Our family enjoyed a 3 hour kayaking tour of Estero Bay with Nick who was a terrific guide--super knowledgeable and fun to be with. We saw incredible birds, a dolphin, sea urchin, and some beautiful and rare seashells. My 5 year old learned a lot and had a blast.
