Great day trip. I wish I could stay there forever

Wonderful experience. Amazing location. Both captains very nice and knowledgable. The beach is unlike any other I've seen down here in swfl.

Loved our cruise. Loved Capt. Joe! Informative, entertaining! Gorgeous waterway. Dolphins manatees. The best!!

The ferry ride to the island was very quick and the Captain was very friendly through his loading of all my gear to stay in a cabin to his stories of local history. He was concise on instructions for the return trip, which was going to be 3 days later and how to contact the ferry service if any changes... More

It was our second time using tropic star to get to Cayo Costa we were traveling with two toddlers and Captain Joe was the best not only did he take great care of us and our kids but he gave us a great lunch recommendation and slowed the boat to let everyone watch the dolphins!

We booked a day trip to Cayo Costa state park and took the Tropic Star boat tour to get there. This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED activity. The captain was very friendly and kept us entertained on the ride over by telling island stories and folklore. CAPT JOE was outstanding. During our trip from Pine Island to Cayo Costa he gave a lively, animated monolog full of interesting facts about the specific areas we were passing , the wildlife and history of the area. We left and returned on time, were given easy and explicit instructions on what and when to do on the island .... More

The Captain and Mate made the hour long ferry very enjoyable. The Captain has great stories and knows the history of the area. Great job would highly recommend!
