What a place! You can spend 3-4 hours on any day and the young ones will love it. The inside art is a rare find.

The kids science museum is nice. But the playground was closed...being rebuilt and will not reopen until spring/summer 2017. But looks really good. Good place to visit next time we are in town.

Best playground because it's big and educational. Climb on the DNA, race wild creatures running, slide down the two story slide. Cool of in kids science museum (FREE). If you want to spend money, there's a merry go round.

Just so everyone is aware, the children's playground has been closed for the past year, project is delayed once again, and now won't be ready until at least Summer of 2017. They still have athletic fields and a carousel ($1 per ride), along with a community center that sponsors some educational programs over the holidays and outside of school hours.... More

This park os wonderful for children of all ages. With woodchips on the floor for the litttle ones and rubber floors to small swings and slides in plastic. For bigger kids a water park with sprinklers and a huge fun area to cool off and run through the fountains. There is a running track, a scooter and bike track and... More

The park is great for children all ages. They's a carrousel, an experiencing museum, and a very cool playground. There're some sport courts, picnic area, and a green area great for walking/biking.

Sugar Sand has skittle of this and a little of that for the entire family: a large playground with a merry go round, baseball diamonds, basketball courts and even a science museum with scheduled exhibit year round. We were there with a friend's family for their son's soccer class and were pleasantly surprised how well kept and run the park... More

Sugar Sand Park is one of the best local parks I have ever lived near. My son has played in Boca Hoops at their excellent gymnasium for years. Their baseball fields are great for local baseball. The fort play area was always a favorite of my boys as they were growing up (but it is currently under construction). My granddaughter... More

The park is under construction, so we were not able to have the kids burn energy, but the Explorium is still open. This place always has cool displays and it only costs a donation. A great place for a rainy day on a budget.
