We explored the park and enjoyed a beautiful day on the beach. Parking is $3.00 on the honor system and all $$ support the park. Bring your lunch and spend the day!

We enjoyed a half day visit to Gasparilla. We drove to the island (there is a $6 fee per car to cross the bridge). Then we biked the whole island and back, stopping at some spots to see the beach and the two lighthouses. The...More

We cruised to the park on a golf cart and combed the beach very successfully! Lovely setting. There was a lighthouse and a sweet museum that I enjoyed very much.

Not that I saw...I went to the beach, but I'm sure you could ask around and find some excellent camping areas. I've only lived in Florida since September and this was my first time going to Gasparilla State Park.
