Went there in April 2016 when heading from the gulf coast to Tallahassee, as part of our 3-weeks trip from New Orleans to South Florida. We wanted to make the best of that car-drive and checked out tripadvisor's map for anything interesting on the way,...More

We drove about an hour each way to get here, and it was off season, but we weren't overly impressed. The 13 or so buildings are a good representation of dwellings through the ages in the area here. Many ae furnished with period pieces and...More

We were here for one of the festivals and met some great people that are interested in keeping this history alive of small town Florida. Great biscuits and jam made fresh. Lots of old buildings.

We took our 4 year old grandson here, and we had a blast! There are old cabins, a church, an old gym, a doctor's office, a blacksmith, and plenty of room to run around. Take your kids! You won't be disappointed!

Not much to see...no real exhibits to see. Perhaps I went at the wrong time of year....not sure. No one was around.

This is a collection of buildings like Sturbridge Village that have been moved to one place and set up somewhat like a village, then restored and furnished with antiques donated by local people. IIt preserves old buildings and customs. It's not a trendy stop, but...More
