A very nice spot to spend the day, use the beach, or see the sharks from the old Flagler Bridge, which is only a short walk away. Is very quiet as not many people stop here. Guess there in a hurry to go other places.

Bahia Honda SP covers most of Bahia Honda Key right on US-1 after the Seven Mile Bridge. There are a few narrow tiny beaches that offer great views on the Atlantic or on the Old Railroad bridge that was built more than 100 years ago...More

This is a must for visiting the Keys. The snorkeling was great and the waters were beautiful. Although we were not camping, we checked out the camping areas and loved the spots. The park is well maintained.

Pretty little stretch of beach without much fuss or muss. Very few amenities there so bring your food and beverages, along with any other necessary provisions. A quick jaunt from Key West!

The park is beautiful, the beach is nice but lots of sea weeds, water very shallow not deep enough to swim in it

Wonderful concession area / clean bathrooms and outdoor rinse off showers. MUST bring an umbrella and sunscreen if traveling in summer. The sun/heat is intense. Easy to access good snorkling and fun to walk up to bridge. This park and beach has much to offer.

We paid $9.00 to get in to take a look at the beach and to look at the campground for future reference but they are blocked off and you can't get driving. The smell from the washed up sea grass was really really bad so...More

We visited Bahia Honda State Park beaches a couple of times during our stay in Key West in August (Summer 2017). The park has a couple of beaches, and in my opinion is one of the nicest parks along Florida Keys. I didn't visit them...More

I agree with the other folks, the beach isn't very wide. We found another small beach called Curry Hammock State park just north of Marathon 56200 oversea hwy. We enjoyed this beach a lot more... More
