My husband and I visited during a holiday event and the mansion was absolutely breathtaking! The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly - happy to share all about the interesting history of the house. Make sure to check out the bowling alley in the basement!

This is a great place to visit. The grounds are gorgeous. The best part is the Mansion. Plan on spending several hours if you really want to see everything.

Went with our group of 15, minimum group size, and couldn't have a better experience. The initial video was helpful, but could have a visual family tree added. Treated very well by all the staff guiding, driving and recounting the history. Christmas decorations included the...More

This is the kind of thing that I love! A beautiful, immaculately maintained mansion featuring beautiful art, furnishings and with a rich history, associated with the Du Pont family.

I don't know for sure but there is no food there. As I recall they do have tickets so I would imagine that they would allow you to go out and return. Best to confirm with them to be sure. Jo-Ann
