I was curious about the Queen in Wilmington since i frequent World Cafe Live in Philly. I decided to use Kiefer Sutherland as my reason to go there. He was great but this isn't a concert review. We were downstairs and the room is fabulous....More
went to see my favorite band (beru revue) over the weekend. the sound was excellent and the drinks flowed by our attentive server. bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. stay away from the eggplant fries at the end of the nite=they came out...More
We came to Wilmington for a Tribute to Whitney Houston event. The venue was packed, staff cordial and friendly with many great seats on the ground floor as well as up in the balcony . Wonderful time feeling the love on Valentine's weekend!
Saw several shows there- some seated, some standing. When I've eaten there, the food has been good, prices fair and service good. Some standing room shows crowded but not packed. Balcony benches a cool spot to see the show as well.
First timers to WCL @The Queen.
We were impressed by the venue.
Made reservations & was seated right up front.
Enjoyed the jam with Lower Case Blues & Sweet Leda.
We had dinner before going, so had drinks & nibbled on sweet potato fries, that...More
I've been to a couple of events at World Cafe Live (upstairs and downstairs) in Wilmington, DE. The venue has a lot of potential; but, realistically, it leaves much to be desired. (Fyi--The food isn't very good...eat before you get there.) I do, however, love...More
We have been here a few times for shows. The upstairs venue is smaller and a bit awkwardly set up for shows. Upstairs serves as a dining room and the menu is okay. It would be nice if there were more appetizer options. I like...More

The food is terrible for no reason that I can see. Nice ingredients poorly served and blandly...More
I have been listening and admiring Todd Rundgren and his work since the 70's, and was blown away by the passionate performance of his new music and constant evolution of his art as performed live in Philly. We were privileged to see the show and...More

There is a small parking garage on 5th street. It is located right next to The Queen. The nice thing about that is, if you are attending an event at The Queen you don't pay for parking. I personally have never had an issue with it being late at night at that location and I have attended more than one event. There is other areas of Wilmington I would say to be a little unsafe after hours but for the most part I always felt comfortable.
