We found that we very much enjoyed our time on the Boardwalk of Rehoboth Beach! We found it to be more 'family friendly' and not as overwhelming like we have found other ocean resorts. We will definitely come back here again!

The boardwalk is great in Winter when the summer businesses are closed and the tourists are gone. It is outstanding in Winter. In Summer it is like a third world country with masses of people and the smell of grease from restaurants permeating the air....More

This is a great Boardwalk which can be very crowded in the summer. In the off season it's a lovely place to take a stroll. It's about a mile in length and if you walk the entire Boards it gives you the opportunity to see...More

Great boardwalk in a great beach town. Dog friendly in the off season - I'm not sure if dog friendly during the summer.

Lots of cute boutique type shops and DOG FRIENDLY! Not as chaotic as Ocean City, MD. Would recommend for families and couples alike!

We have to get our ice cream here every time we are in town. The ice cream and service is awesome! Love this place!

We were blessed with sunshine and upper 60 degree weather in early November. Many shops and eateries were still open and there were just enough people to make it feel like a vacation destination. The boardwalk itself is easily accessible even for my Rollator. With...More

While you may have been here in the summer, or heard about it, some of the best times can be in the winter. The boardwalk attractions are shuttered and there are few people around. Parking is free and when it is clear, the views are...More

A little less hectic than some beaches, Rehobeth Boardwalk and town makes a nice summer excursion. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the vicinity with plenty to explore.

Our hotel was basically on boardwalk so our entire Thanksgiving mini-vacation in Rehoboth Beach was centered on this beautiful ocean-side promenade. Even off season it was a delightful place to walk and enjoy the fresh ocean air. Many businesses were still open. The small but...More

Most of the stores and restaurants are open until Halloween and then they slowly start to drop off, although a good number are open year round.

Yes, they are a very short walk to the boardwalk. When you're in the area, suggest that you explore Lewes and the nature boardwalk and trail at the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. Ducks and geese are starting to show up.
