We were invited to a wedding at the Judge Morris Estate at White Clay Creek State Park. We parked in the lot and walked the brick path to the house. The house is a brick home with a few small rooms. As guests, we saw the bathroom, dining room and family parlor. Behind the family parlor room there was another... More

Hiking and biking trails are fantastic. You can enjoy the best of nature on anyone of the numerous trails at White Clay. We've been hiking the trails for a number of years, and each time is enjoyable as the first time.

A great place to ride the mountain bike. There are miles of trails that have been cut and maintained by cyclists.

We have family living in Newark so they knew of the park. Six of us went to the park to walk along a terrific trail through a section of the park. It was a terrific area to explore...lots of water, great trees and wildlife.

You can spend an hour to a few hours walking around and taking in the views. There are also some important border markers where the states join. Be sure to get the online park maps. Watch out for mosquitoes and ticks. Bring water.

large park in parts of 2 states, many trails or paths to follow, lots of wildlife and wild flowers. No matter your interest in nature, there is a lot here, at least for this part of the country.

Sometimes the places we overlook are in, or near our own backyard. That being the case, White Clay Creek Park is a beautiful, nearby nature's wonder. It is a great place to spend a couple hours hiking or mountain biking - (Maybe off-road biking would be a better term we-have no Mountains in Delaware.) But we have beautiful countryside and... A great place to seek a brief respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Main Street, this is a place for hiking, mountain biking, trail running, a quick walk with the dog, or all of the above.
