Cute little park

Beautifully up-kept little park in the heart of the town. Nice for stopping with ice cream or just to take a break.

This is a beautiful little park, overflowing with a variety of flowers and shrubs. There's a gazebo for you to sit in to take it all in. There is also a clean restroom facility and a water fountain. As a convenience for those who park in the area there is a change machine for the ever present parking meters. On... More

Beautiful flower selection is in bloom all summer. The gazebo is a nice place to take a break as you stroll Lewes. Bathroom facilities are free, handicap accessable and clean.

This is not really a destination, but if you are strolling around Lewes, make sure to take a peak. It is a pleasant little pocket park sporting clean restrooms for tourists. It has well maintained seasonally appropriate beautiful gardens surrounding the area.

Very nice town to stroll around many interesting shops, variety of places to eat. Natives friendly, one couple invited us in to see their very early home that was a combination of 3 tiny cottages moved together. High ceilings, tiny stairs and at least 3 doors to the outside, each on a different side of the house. Great antique alley,... More

Sea breeze, beautiful gardens planted and maintained by a local Lewes garden society. Their work is excellent, and while the area is much smaller, is worthy of a walk around. The same society also takes care of the flowers and plants at the nearby Cannonball House, the Post Office, and War of 1812 Park, and the public parking lot. All... More

This summer a friend and I got a sandwich from Patty's and sat in the gazebo eating and enjoying the beautiful flowers. Peaceful, beautiful and just a half block off the main street.

Flowers n plants inside n out of the gazebo are breath taking. This gazebo is in a great location near the rest rooms. I have taken several pictures at this location!

Mary Vessels park is a cute, small green space in downtown histopric Lewes. Here you will find a gazebo, restrooms and a change machine. You can get quarters for your parking meter here! We stopped by the other day to take advantage of the shade that the pavilion provided. There were lots of colorful flowers in bloom. Park was clean.... More
