A great beach to take younger children to. Minimum waves and they can swim around without getting knocked down or swept under. Great for anyone that doesn't like getting beat by waves. Very quaint!

Spent a few hours on Sunday at this very pleasant, very wide and clean beach Plenty of parking, and several benches upon which to sit It's off season, so the vendors were not open, but it's very accessible to town (Lewes)
We went there one evening to shoot some photos of my expecting daughter, husband, and dog and were surprised at the number of people still on the beach. The setting sun, grassy dunes and calm waters made it perfect for a photo shoot.
I came here on my last trip and the beach was nice. It was a bit windy but the views are adorable and perfect to relax
We visited Rehoboth Beach for a week, and my four year-old desperately wanted to swim. Unfortunately, Rehoboth Beach's waves and undertow and too strong, so we ventured to Lewes Beach for a day. Swimming was perfect for her there. We brought along a boogie board...More
