The "red month" I'm referring to is, of course, hunting season. And that's the only reason I don't rate the Ashland Nature Center with top marks. For 11 months of the year it's a wonderful place to bring your kids, your dog, or just yourself...More

Easy parking and the main trail is a nice loop around beautiful country. It is paved all the way, so wheel chair friendly.

Hiked today on a number of trails. There was a group doing a hawk watch, and they were excited that they saw an eagle today. A real jewel in the area, recommended.
