There are few experiences these days that don’t put a real dent in your pocket when trying to visit as a family of 5. This place is the exception at $9 per person. Well worth a stopover with young kids. There’s generally a special exhibit...More

Great place to take the family. Lots of kid activities involving history, science and nature. Beautiful minerals and shells collections. Bird and animal exhibits. Bring lunch or buy food there and have a picnic outside

This is a smallish museum very close to Wilmington. It has a nice flow and is mostly geared towards children with bright interactive displays. The kids will really enjoy it.

Had a good time, lots of hands on for my 6 year old. They did a dinosaur reading session and let him hold fossilized dino poop, highlight of his day!

We went to this museum with a 3 and 5 year old. We arrived 2 hours before closing, and that was enough time to get to all the exhibits and not feel rushed. Good combination of hands on activities and great things to look and...More

We’ve been to many Natural History Museums in many locations. This one, although small, is one of the best we’ve seen. The most surprising aspect is the large number of hands-on activities for children. We visited this venue on New Year’s Day as a group...More
