Good Amish Food

Amish sell cooked food and a lot of fresh meats here. Prices a little high but is worth it. Open only on Tuesdays and Fridays.

I was so happy to find this Amish market in Dover. The food is great I have made it a weekly trip to get food for the week. I did not think the prices were that high when you consider that the things that you are getting is all natural. The day I went they were having an auction in... More

We had a friend visiting and, for some reason, he wanted to go to a flea market. We took him the Spence's Bazaar in Dover. Honestly, we we're impressed by the flea market at all. It's sort of random and all over the place. None of us was tempted to by anything. The Amish Food was another matter. The sandwiches... More

Starting with the parking lot it can get very crowded so maybe having someone to control the flow of traffic would help. Also the parking lot is ruff. Maybe they could pave it. Auctions are only Tuesday and Thursday. Auction seems to be not worth it. If you find one item you have to wait the whole time plus honestly... More

Spence's is a combination of an open-air flea market and an indoor Amish farmer's market. I am sure that the farmer's market portion of Spence's Bazaar is a source of fresh meats, produce, and bakery items for many Dover residents. Everything looked great and the prices seemed to be very reasonable. Prices were even lower outside at the various booths... More

Large variety of merchandise - hats, meats, candy, relishes, gifts - much of it made locally. Lots of booths and vendors.

Best part is the Amish market. If you can find the end of the sandwich line, get in it! But it is loosely organized at best, which is one of its charms. The sandwiches are delicious and a great value. The produce is fresh, the flea market is OK. They even have a barber shop which is good value and... More

This has been in business for many years and I have found shopping there hit or miss. Many items are overpriced but they will dicker and often if they see you walk away they will do far better. The food is wonderful and it is fun to watch the Amish go about their activities.
