We went as a family during school break. The Docent was very good and knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of our six-year-old’s questions. It was well worth the visit on a cold December day.

Very authentic and informative. All staff are dressed in period clothing. they share the view of the era and the chores and daily routines. The buildings and grounds are well preserved. Visit around the holidays and it is decorated to reflect the times.

The guide, Chris, was excellent and probably one of the best guides I have heard. My teenagers loved this. The buildings have been well maintained and are fascinating. This took about 45 minutes and is well worth the time.
