We chose Dewey Beach as a short weekend trip, just to be close to the beach. Very glad we did. Dewey is a bit smaller than Rehoboth, and less expensive, but close enough that it takes no time to head over there to visit if...More

I chose this hotel for it's view of the beach and it's close proximity to the beach. We could hear the ocean and see it from our room! You will not go hungry here! They served a quick breakfast every am (which included eggs if...More

I love the off season friendly local folks and their fur babies playing together ! If you like a less crowded and more laid back stretch of beach then this one is for you.

Dewey beach is still one of those unspoiled beaches with no high rises ruining the coastline. Great for families who want a quite, less face paced vacation.

This is a very clean and well kept beach. It is very family oriented. We had fun playing paddleball and riding the waves.

Dewey is the most dog friendly beach on the Mid-Atlantic. Great times, great pupster scene! Nothing like a sunrise dog walk on the beach!

it's the end of the season in this little beach town. But there is still fishing to be had if you are an avid fisherman. There's surf fishing on the beach or even at the many state parks .

A bit rainy, but loved being at beach. Quiet & no crowds. This was a metal detecting trip for my husband.

I don't know the area very well, I only visited for a weekend, but I did see someone with a metal detector over on Dewey Beach. It will be less crowded/travelled than Rehoboth, which is the more touristy location.
