We have enjoyed well on the Jeep travel to Tortoise Rock and also the experience in the Tortoise Rock was amazing. Rs 1300 for a Jeep, which can travel 8 passengers. Not recommended for aged or elder persons.

I call this the hidden gem. Thanks to our munnar hotel manager who insisted that we visit this spot en route from munnar to Thekkady . So those reading this ensure you stop by this spot. This is a scenic spot not only for valley view photography but also for trekking from one mountain spot to another. The view is breathtaking and the wind compels you to do that Titanic pose with your beloved.
While there are no restaurants or eateries as this place is still a hidden gem I suggest do carry some water and snacks with you for you will surely land up spending at least an hour if not two here. We surely did. Just sitting looking at the mountain ranges or the windmills and walking around the plateau brings a lot of inner peace. For trek lovers you can do a quick 20 minute trek to the tortoise rock mountain. If we had more time at hand we surely would have done that.
Overall an excellent spot to visit. Take a look at the pics you will know. This place is called Ramakkalmedu. It's there on Google maps we followed it then ask locals you can drive up to the top. Roads are excellent.
Do try it and let me know if you found the hidden gem.
