The New England Air Museum is a historical dream come true for anyone interested in the subject of flying. There are many airplanes of all types including military and commercial. The museum has open cockpit days during the Summer season for everyone to try. There are also numerous opportunities to volunteer.

Spent one night here with a hundred or so scouts from around the region. Great program by the museum staff and a wonderful museum for any aviation or history buff. My son and I slept under the wing of a F-4 Phantom after a hour on the flight simulator and another hour with the director telling stories about the Bermuda... More

I was early as I was headed to Bradley Airport for my flight. I saw the Air Museum sign near the rental car turn-in so decided to check it out. I'm glad that I did. I'm a airplane buff so was very pleased to see their collection. The highlight was seeing the B-29 and getting to go up in it... More

I did a search online and saw that it had a good sized collection and positive reviews, so decided to visit. And, indeed, the collection is really quite varied and... More

If you are a serious aviation buff, plan to spend a day. There is lots to see and read. Nicely presented collection with some unique aircraft. Be sure to check out the used book shelves at the back of the gift shop.
