A beautiful and friendly village, but alas I have to deduct a star on account of the motorbike noise, which is getting out of hand. Idiot teenagers and some not so teens think nothing of roaring about the village at all hours of the day and night - even past midnight.

Lovely harbour with a great mountainous backdrop. A few tavernas. Lovely clear water. We visited as part of a boat trip and it was so nice to see this beautiful harbour.

Visited as part of boat trip. Pretty harbour but very much a watering hole for the yachts now. Five pricey Tavernas and several high end jewelry shops.

Amazing place to eat and relax. If you go with a boat the view is incredible. It surely deserves a visit.

Mills was the best at all meals including the slow oven roasted Goat but watch out for the Water guy on the dock if you have a boat as he will pump 750 liters into your 500 liter tank and charge you 6 cents per liter INCLUDING the 250 extra you have no room for. No receipt. Cash only but otherwise EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.

Second stop on our boat trip to Ithaca. A really cute port and town with crystal clear water for swimming. Lots of sail ships. Hidden gem.

Stopped here on a boat trip from Kefalonia, the bay is stunning with a back drop of mountains and a handful of traditional restaurants and a couple of souvenir shops surrounding the waters edge,
Fishing boats bobbed around on the sea and the place was tranquil and beautiful.
Will return!!!

This is a perfect harbour village. Good restaurants on the seafront and genuine Greece if you can be bothered to walk inland where you will be welcomed by orange trees. It would be easy to stay or spend a few hours here. There is also a commemoration of the place where the resistance attacked a German patrol boat. The usual tourist shops are there but not in great quantities. Enjoy the quaintness and peace.

There was Alan a “tripper bost” that came in, but think it probably originated from Vathy which is further Soug.

It looks like a lovely harbour but is it dominated by yachts/flotillas? I just want a quiet holiday reading in the shade, swimming & a couple of tavernas. Don't really want to be surrounded by yachting groups. Thank you.

Yes, there are quite a few yachts here, although it is a quiet place and I am sure there are areas nearby with no yachts.
