The farm is quaint with a big barn board banquet hall. The horses are beautiful and most of the staff was friendly enough. We purchased advanced tickets and made reservations for the 10:30am seating for an all you can eat pancake breakfast with Santa, story time with Mrs. Claus and a sleigh/hay ride following. My daughter had her wedding at Wood Acres Farm. The landscaping was gorgeous, with a couple areas for ceremonies to choose from. You overlook the gazebo and the pond.The ceremony was in front of the gazebo. The happy hour was on the wrap around porch. The reception was inside the transformed horse barn. I found this venue to be a perfect location for a wedding. In any season, the scenery lends itself to picture taking, whether professional or amateur. There is an enormous outdoor space for guests to "mingle" and relax.

Wood Acres Farm provided a horse and carriage ride for my wife and I on our wedding day when we departed the wedding reception. The proprietor, Ken Wood and his family are our neighbors. For the two of us they had the Victorian Sleigh. The ride lasted about 50 minutes or so. They gave us blankets to cover ourselves up with which made the ride very comfortable. Once we returned they gave us hot cocoa and an assortment of cookies, as we warmed up by their stove. We took lots of pictures and it... More
