We enjoy going to Long Beach in Stratford. It is rarely crowded and is quiet. In July and August, the water temperature is in the low to mid 70's so it is a very comfortable swim. In the spring and fall, the kite surfers come...More

You can enjoy the beach or take a walk along tons and tons of shells. Non residents must pay $20 for parking.

This beach is beautiful and very quiet. If you plan on going in the water you have to wear water shoes as it is very rocky.

One of the few barrier beaches on the CT coastline, bordering a wildlife refuge. Not many people come here so you can enjoy a peaceful day by the water. Highly recommend, jut don't tell anyone!
