This is a trip I take at least once a year. I often go 3-4 times a year. I love the trip and only wish it was a longer ride.

On a cool morning we arrived and walked around the pleasant park beside the ferry. The wide river is breath taking.

When you have a few extra minutes-take the oldest running ferry from Rocky Hill to Glastonbury and get out of the car and take in the scenery of the CT River for a short ride...better than taking a bridge anyday!
