Funky, fun, friendly staff, good beer, relaxed. No doubt we'll return the next time we're in the area.

Stopped in the brewery before it was actually opened to the public but they let us in anyway and were super friendly. We got to try their beers which were all good, not too hoppy. Their beer prices are very reasonable and the tasting is free. The place has a cool vibe, the brewery is located in an old building... More

Hubby & I went and loved it. About 7 different brews to try and they were all good (Hub had a hard time choosing which was his favorite). Service from Tim & Pat was upbeat and friendly. Tour and tasting is about an hour - depending on how much you taste. Tour took about 20 minutes or so. Its a... More

This is a fun brewery, there is a lot of room, and a three-piece band sets up to entertain. When it is busy, there are long lines to get another drink. You do get ample drink tickets, which is nice. There isn't much differentiation in the beers - they are decent but they kind of all taste the same.

This place has the best price for growler refills. The staff is very sociable and the beers are good. You'll want to try whatever nanobrew is on tap and ask about the barrel aged beers...the gin barrel aged IPA is fantastic.

Cottrell Brewery is a small operation in the back of an industrial lot. On your way in, don't worry, you are in the right place. Right after you enter you will see the tasting bar where they will let you try all 5 of their main beers along with 3-5 special projects that they have been working on. If you... More

We went for a couples day in the mystic area. Found Cottrell online and were pleasantly surprised! Unique opportunity to see the inside of an active brewery. Enjoyed all of the beer tastings. The man helping us was very knowledgable and told us a lot about each of the beers. Really enjoyed our time here and will be back in... More

It was really neat to see the inside of a brewery and learn about the beer-making process. Our guide was very nice. We got to taste 7 beers. They brew some pretty funky stuff...the fungus beer was repulsive, and the beers aged in whiskey barrels were so potent. Our favorite was definitely the 2 Bobs brew. I'd probably go back... More

Was very good beer. Had some interesting nano brews with a new one weekly. Worth it to go check it out. Free tastings. Would go back
