The Maritime Aquarium is in the heart of the historic waterfront neighborhood of SoNo which is short for South Norwalk. The aquarium is fun place to go for all ages as there is so much to see and do. The kids love the tidal pool...More

We have been visiting the Aquarium for many years, since the grand opening decades ago. Still a great place to take the kids - or in my case now, the grandkids. Mine are ages 3, 6, and almost 9, and all three had a good...More

I had a lovely afternoon strolling through the aquarium with my son. I learned a ton (check out the black dragon!) and he had fun showing off his Wild Kratts knowledge. We really enjoyed the Panda imax movie (though... Pandas? At the aquarium? Sure). The...More

Its an amazing place for kids. where some fish they could touch with there hands. Of course its good for adults too but I would recommend going there with kids unless fish is your hobby.

Nice but small aquarium. Was a pleasant enough visit.....but I feel that it is overpriced for what is available. The fact that the price of admission includes the Imax is certainly nice but I sill feel it's too expensive.

This aquarium seems to advertise more that CT is in "New England" more so than the aquarium itself, which is located in metro New York City! New England is not a market nor a metro region, so this advertising campaign should cease, or maybe they...More

This was my second time visiting this aquarium. I love it! ♥️ Everything is kept clean and although it was busy this time around, it was still nice and organized. It is on the smaller side but its a great lil nearby attraction. Very kid...More

I cannot see how this is voted the best aquarium in ct. It is tiny, disorganized and not well kept. Kids left unattended by their rude parents. Snack bar is typically expensive. Exhibits are short and small. If you have a kid who loves sea...More
