This is a wonderful site for anyone interested in mid-century modern architecture, modern art, or an exceedingly unusual stroll in beautiful Connecticut countryside. Initially, I'd assumed that the only structure to view was Johnson's famous Glass House but there are many other structures on the...More

The property of the Glass House is an experience all on it's own! The house and the other buildings are incredible but one suggestion, spend the extra money and get a full guide tour that includes the sculpture gallery. It's not to be missed!

We had a fantastic tour guide who navigated around 2 cranky children! (Not really a kids tour). She tailored the tour to our needs and made it interesting for everyone. This is an architectural wonder in the heart of Fairfield County. Don't miss taking a...More

We chose the extended tour and saw the house plus half a dozen other buildings. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, gracious and always kept an eye out for anyone who seemed to need water, a place to sit or a question answered. We had terrific...More

We went on a very rainy day but the place was fully prepared, with big umbrellas galore. The Visitor Center was very pleasant and educational with a great store, too. The bus to the site was very comfortable and the ride through the mansion country...More
