Lots of stuff, prices weren't bad. We bought fudge. Touristy, but not as pricey as some. We roamed the store with no problems, off season so no crowds. Lots of food items, but other things as well. Go for the fudge!!

when you go on vacation you find stores like this with hundreds or more items that most other stores have. This one does have items that fall into that catagory but they also have quite a few novel items so you can pick up some items for gifts that are different. Now the fudge is really quite good and they do have some other food items that are not expensive and in the warm weather you can go outside and eat. Nice for the family and really good for the kids, like hot dogs and drinks and popcorn. so all in all it is a nice stop so you can have fun and that is what it is all about. so enjoy the village and all that it offers. Love the ducks in the little pond. The grand kids love all of it.

Everyone who passes and get a whiff of the delicious scent of nuts roasting in sweet caramel are lured in like rabbits to carrots!
The nut stand is all you see from the walkway outside but from the moment you step in to see what smells so darn good, your eyes immediately go past the nuts to the rows and racks of food products and gifts!
They have all manner of products for sale here both edible and non. They even sell train pins and books!
Loved this shop. Has a great old trading post ambience and looks like a large log cabin on the inside.
Believe me, you can go blindfolded into Old Mistick Village and your nose will somehow lead you here!

I found a few things to purchase here so I headed to the cash register. The clerk gave me the total and I handed her extra change to make my change come out even with just bills. She put the wrong amount in so I NICELY pointed out that she made an error. She looked very confused and had to call someone over to help her figure it out. The second clerk came over, straightened it out and then proceeded to bag my purchases and shove them across the counter at me. Not a "Thank You" , just a very unfriendly attitude. The store was ok with lots of "stuff" but not enough to make me ever want to go back or to make up for the attitude. We found all the other stores in Olde Mystic Village to be very nice & welcoming.

Whenever we visit Old Mystick Village, we always make it a point to stop in the Franklin General Store. Their covered almonds, salad dressings and fudge is the best.

This is your typical tourist general store. They did have some cool stuff to look at but they have so many displays and boxes of merchandise that it makes it really hard to get around, and then add in more people and, wow, I had to leave. There are also too many smells mixing together of the things that they sell.

I took my family and friends here and it was fantastic! At the end of November they still had their front door open and you can smell the roasted caramelized nuts they are cooking inside. Once inside they have so many things, ranging from food to souvenirs to cards to hoodies. They have a small bakery counter in the back of the store which is the place to be. They make about 15 different types of fudge, and they are delicious! I bought pumpkin pie fudge and cookies-n-cream fudge....WOW! I should have bought more!

Nice little place with all kinds of canned, jarred foods, cheeses, fish and... Candy! Go for the fudge! Delicious! We got a sampler of walnut, Snickers and peanut butter (which had chocolate chips in it!). Really excellent stuff!

Loved the selection of unique items especially the books! The best part was they had salt water taffy! Clean store and friendly staff!
