We moved to Mystic, CT last year and several people recommended visiting Clyde's come fall. So we did. It is indeed an authentic fall activity here in CT. A cabin with a big porch stands nestled off the road surrounded by trees. On a busy...More

I finally visited this local legendary cider mill on my way to see my parents in CT recently. It seems to be a favorite seasonal autumn destination with anyone visiting the area. The place not only houses an original cider press, it also has a...More

Visited with a friend from Texas. Came to see the steam engine making cider. Unfortunately it was being cleaned, but people were willing to explain the process to us. Hard cider tastings, baked goods, cider all available. Great Sunday afternoon visit in the fall.

Very popular with tourists especially in the fall. Delicious hot cider and cider donuts. Also has nice selection of hard cider. Long history of continuous operation.

Fall is perfect for this visit. They make apple cider the way people did 100 years ago. Only a couple of miles off exit 90 Ct.

Clydes is a fun place for kids to see a cider press in action, eat a donut and have a cup of cider. The press is interesting and worth a visit. Prices are a bit too steep for me.

Going to Clyde's is an amazing Fall tradition. Cider slushies, apple cider donuts, and even hard cider (which is actually too strong for me). Love seeing the press in action and smelling the cider. Long lines on the weekend, and great for kids.

Clydes is usually open right up until Christmas and then closes until the following season. I enjoy going at the end because of their mark downs. A must see when visiting Southeastern CT in December!
