Great for family of 5 with 8, 10 and 12 year old kids. Lots of snacks. Crew is safe and knowledgeable of shoreline history and attractions. Fisher Island Sound is a nice place to sail and waves are/were in the 1 foot range. Very little boat motion for those with seasickness issues. Nice boat seemingly designed for short day cruises... After a long hot day, this was a wonderful way to relax. Captain Amy, Neil and Rebecca taught us about the area and boating. I don't know much about either, and was so appreciative of all their information. They were clearly knowledgeable and passionate. They made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Snacks are provided but you can choose... More

We really enjoyed our two our trip with Captain Amy, Eric, Rebecca, and Neil. Everything from booking the tickets, to checking in, to the trip itself was effortless and just as expected. We arrived about 45 minutes before directed and parked in the free lot out back. That left plenty of time to walk over the draw bridge, pop into... More

My husband and I went with another couple on 8/9. It was a perfect day to be out on the water. The crew was fantastic. Very friendly and informative. Even though we were the last to board I think we ended up with the best seats. I would definitely want to do this again.

We had a smooth sail up the Mystic River in the late afternoon to early evening. Our captain and crew were very knowledgeable of the area and the vessel. It was fun watching children help the crew with the rigging and even steer for a short while. Get there early to be towards the front. Lemonade, water, crackers and cheese... More

We were looking for something to do in Mystic that was active and yet relaxing, and this was the perfect combination of both. The crew was unbelievably kind, the set up was great and the fact that we could bring our own wine and snacks was clutch. We had a really great time, and made some fun connections. I would... More

This was our second trip on the Argia, the first was several years ago. Crew is engaging and informative. Trip out of the harbor is informative, and interesting in part because of two bridges that must be opened for the boat -- the Amtrak swing bridge and the roadway swing bridge. Refreshments are provided (water, lemonade). Cruise we took was... More

The weather cleared, so we decided to go on a sunset sail. Bring your own drinks is encourage, so we brought some wine. We had a great time, and the crew is just super friendly people.

A group of 9 of us, 4 adults and 5 kids, did the afternoon sail on Saturday. It was really nice. The kids loved the free snacks (my son had at least 5 different things) and were really engaged by the occasional narratives. It was enough explanation to have our questions answered, but not so much that we felt like... More

Beautiful and comfortable 82' schooner. Crew is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable in regards to sailing and the history of the area. If it was the 5:30 cruise, I would have had wine and snacks to make the trip even more luxurious!
