This is a beautiful park! My nieces (ages 3 and 4) loved the playground, and the circle around the pond is great for casual walking. The trails are awesome for hiking as well.

This park has been a popular hangout for area residents for many years. The open green areas are often used for picnics... and animals are allowed. The pond area provides many different views of the surroundings.

Check out the castle when the road is open. Very cool and a unique drive for central CT. The park offers lots of diversions from feeding the ducks to hiking the trails to just strolling on the pavement.
