Beautiful setting and some good hiking trails. Some of the smaller hiking trails are not marked as well. The road/trail to walk into the woods had huge rocks, like ditch drainage rocks and the road had large groves in it that the rain had made. Not enjoyable to walk on. They do have benches along some of the trails which... More

Easy, well marked trails with lots of benches for resting if need be. Views of Hartford and other sites north and west are terrific, especially in the fall when the colors add to the experience. Big bang for the effort.

Several trails providing good hikes to the summit with its outstanding view of Hartford and some areas of Manchester. If new to Case Mountain, be sure to have a map with you!

Very nice place to hike. Bring a map, trails can be hard to follow. Easy to get to, a great place to walk.

Wonderful view when you get to the top of the mountain, but be sure to stay on the trails when hiking in the woods.

This is a trail system that we frequent especially in the fall. The trails are well marked and mostly well maintained. It would be great to see a scout troop do a service project at the summit to clean up the litter. There are plenty of geocaches on this trail as well.

Case Mountain is buried deep in a beautiful section of Manchester. It's one of those "hiding in plain site" kind of places. I wondered why there weren't more people hiking there. I have been there several times over the last 5 years and it is never crowded. It is beautiful; the trails aren't too steep; and the view of Hartford... More

At the base of the mountain is the recently re-landscaped waterfalls and stone bridges. You can get very close to the falls here. The sound of the rushing water, the sight of the tumbling falls and the glacial stone is classic New England. There are several trails up the mountain you can take. There are old carriage roads near the... More
