I was visiting my Niece and her children and decided to go to Penfield beach in Fairfield. It was a cold November day but we had a great time playing at the playground, looking for shells and walking along the beach. The sun was shining...More

I grew up on this beach so visiting is special. Still beautiful, nice pavilion, good parking. The water is clean, good shelling, friendly people. Fairfield residents preferred

Went here with two girlfriends on a Sunday afternoon. It was not crowded just before noon and we felt it was very clean. They bathrooms were very clean for a public beach. There was also a nice little playground area for the kiddos.

My favorite go to place to sit and unwind on the beach. The sand is gritty and heavy, but clean. The seagulls are not people shy and relax around you. The new Penfield Pavilion is lovely and sells snacks during the open season.
