Pretty house in a peaceful setting. Very interesting history related by a pleasant, knowledgeable guide. Interesting tidbits for fans of Ben on AMC TURN: Washington's Spies :) (a real-life friend of Hale's, deeply influenced by him)

Well maintained property. Staff is great. Fantastic upgrades over the past few years. Head over on a Sunday during the sumer and enjoy the local Farmers Market at the same time. Well worth the stop and visit.

The house tour took 20 minutes and we spent another 20 minutes looking around at the buildings outside. We spent a few minutes playing an old fashion game outside where players use a stick to toss a 12 inch ring to each other. My 8-year-old...More

There was a farmers market on the land so we stopped there for fresh produce and other items. The house is beautiful and large. We only did the free tour. I believe you can get a tour of the upstairs for a cost.

This is a local attraction where you get the history of a true American patriot. I strongly suggest a visit if your in Coventry.

If you like history, particularly the Revolutionary War then Hale Homestead is a must. The tour gives you a real taste of life during that period. Our docent was very good and brought the house and grounds to life.

You may get a good glimpse of Colonial life here but Nathan Hale was hung 1 month before the family moved in to this homestead. More appropriately called Hale Homestead since his father and brothers lived here, but he never did.
